Mission

Our Mission is to provide support and resources to homeless individuals and families at risk of homelessness, with the ultimate goal of helping to empower the homeless to live fulfilling and self-sufficient lives.

Our

Belief

Mission Agape is a non-profit organization established in 2011 with a mission to support individuals in need, particularly those experiencing homelessness or facing disadvantages. While economic factors have traditionally contributed to homelessness, it has become evident that factors such as war, poverty, and family issues also play a significant role. Homelessness is a widespread issue in Georgia, with homeless individuals often found in downtown Atlanta, streets, parks, and metro areas. Although efforts have been made by the government and relief agencies to establish self-reliance centers and implement homeless prevention strategies, many individuals still face marginalization and extreme poverty. While progress has been made, there is still much work to be done in addressing homelessness and poverty in the state of Georgia. Mission Agape is dedicated to making a positive impact and continues to strive for meaningful change in the lives of those in need.

Our

Community

Mission Agape has its origins in Atlanta's Korean Community, but our reach extends far beyond. Our dedicated volunteers, generous sponsors, and supporting organizations come from diverse economic, cultural, and social backgrounds, yet we are united as one family. Our main focus throughout the year is to provide nourishing meals of the highest quality to Atlanta's homeless population. In a typical year, we prepare and distribute approximately 30,000 meals through our extensive network, which includes partnerships with homeless organizations, Ware State Prison, and special holiday events. Our commitment to serving those in need knows no boundaries, and together we make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals experiencing homelessness.

Our organization is dedicated to transforming the lives of children, families, and communities by breaking the cycle of poverty. We believe in empowering individuals of all ages to dream, aspire, and achieve their full potential. Through our programs and initiatives, we provide the necessary support and resources to help individuals overcome barriers, develop essential skills, and create a brighter future for themselves and their communities. Together, we are working towards a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and succeed, regardless of their circumstances.
